large scale project underway

focus systems ltd - systems subsite - no jargon

Macclesfield based software development firm Focus Systems are currently constructing a large scale national database for the Alzheimer's Society UK.

Following an initial consultation meeting in London, Technical Director Valerie Jones was delighted to put her considerable experience into practise, "during the initial meeting and specification phase, we were able to interpret their business needs and design the system around this. Our understanding of the customer's requirements and operation, and our vast business knowledge meant that we were able to transfer their needs very quickly into a system design which will more than satisfy their operational requirements."

Winning such a contract is a further indication of how growth has been maintained through the last 12 months. Managing Director Graham Jones explained "To win this contract we had to beat very stiff competition from a number of competing organisations, including a leading university. We were chosen because of our in-depth understanding of their business requirements and our unique combination of software and web design skills. Over the last 12 months we have added to both our technical and sales operations and are winning more contracts, both locally and nationwide, producing systems which deliver real and lasting improvements to our customers operations."

The online database is a comprehensive source of information which will improve the quality of reporting available to management, enabling them to analyse performance, effectiveness and make important strategic decisions.
